NEW! Jaguar XK 120 – The story of 660725 by Simon Ham

This book, published in November, tells the story of how this early XK 120 was exported new to Singapore then soon bought by Scottish ex-pat Bob Henderson in Malaya. He went on to keep 660725 for over 60 years, culminating in the cars being fitted with (amongst other interest items) a supercharger, after which it recorded 0 – 100mph in 13.8 seconds!

I first encountered this car and its amazing history in an article by Jim Patten in Jaguar World some years ago, and now, most deservedly, a book has been written on it and the equally amazing Bob Henderson. The author is Simon Ham, son of David Ham who in the 1970s and 80s I much enjoyed watching drive the family’s Lister-Jaguar (which Simon went on to race as well).
